Spring Turkey

There are six different turkey subspecies that can be found in North America. In Idaho, the Merriam's turkey is most common. Merriam's turkey breed in the springtime, making this the optimal time to hunt turkey due to their increased activity and susceptibility to being called. We offer fully guided expeditions for turkey starting April 15th through the end of May.

        A turkey expedition includes three days of hunting and two travel days. On this expedition, two turkeys can be harvested.

        We additionally offer a bear/turkey combination that includes one black bear tag and one turkey tag for a four-day hunt totaling $4,700.

        Both expeditions include lodging, meals, and the expertise of the guides. Tags and licensing are not included.
