Spring/Fall Bear

        Hells Canyon has an abundance of black bears. They typically range in size from 130lbs to 300lbs in our unit. The most common size is between 150lbs to 250lbs. The arid environment causes color phases that consist of blonde, cinnamon, chocolate, and black. We use a combination of stand hunting over bait as well as spot/stalk tactics.

        We offer four-day spring bear/turkey expeditions for $ 4,500. This includes the opportunity for one bear and one turkey

​

        We offer four-day fall bear expeditions for $5,000. This includes the opportunity for one bear.

 

        Both options include four hunting days and two travel days. Both expeditions are fully guided and include lodging and meals.
